This is a post about my French Haul Make up.
Hi! I’ve just come back from a quick trip to Nice, France. I previeous made a shopping list focused on brands which I can’t – or hardly – find here in Italy: Nars, Bobbi brown, Bourjois.
So, I went to Sephora and Galeries LaFayette, I was like a child in a candyshop 😀
You can’t imagine how I was excited while I was looking at and swatching Nars and Bobbi Brown stands!
So, some photos of my French Haul Make up:
I didn’t buy any Nars blush because I already own a great number (I have… 7 XD). I sooo wanted Strada eyeshadow but unfortunately it was sold out… I wanted to try a Velvet Matte Lip Pencil but I was so overwhelmed that I couldn’t choose any colour, so maybe I’ll get one online later. Finally I bought the new Light Reflecting Setting Powder (the pressed version): I was looking for a good pressed powder and I read so many positive reviews that I wanted to give it a try. It’s really pricey (36 euro), I hope it will be worth!
Brand’s statement: “containing NARS’ exclusive Light Reflecting Complex, this translucent powder optimizes light reflection on the skin, optically fading fine lines, wrinkles, and pores as skin is visibly smoothed. Vitamin E and glycerin help guard against dryness and provide a luminous soft matte finish. Ideal for touch-ups, regulating shine, and seamlessly setting foundation. Paraben-free. Fragrance-free. Non-Comedogenic”
Then I fell in love with Bobbi Brown stand. I really wanted to try its corrector: I chose it in Light Bisque, with strong pink undertones. Peachy shades were too dark and orange for my skintone. I also couldn’t help to grab Pot Rouge for Lip & Cheeks in Pale Pink and Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Violet Ink (but the blue one was also gorgeous!).
Let’s come to Bourjois. I wanted to try Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation but I couldn’t find lightest colour n°51 🙁 so I chose a loose powder, the HD style: Poudre Libre Univerelle Flower Perfection, for a smoothing result. I’ll compare it with the Nars Light Reflecting Setting Powder and the Neve Cosmetics Hollywood powder, which is the exact dupe for Make Up For Ever HD Powder.
Finally, I grabbed two Sinful Colors nail polishes: cheap and beautiful shades! I chose 1007 Lavender (a true lavender, yeah!) and 982 Be Happy, a light pastel teal in Tiffany style.
That’s all folks! What do you think about my French Haul Make up?
Next post will be about the huge haul in French pharmacies!

Bè, dai. Sei stata brava.
