Bourjois Flowe Perfection Powder review

During my last trip to France (here you can see my haul post) I couldn’t help picking up a Bourjois product. Firstly I wanted the famous Healthy Mix Foundation but I didn’t find it in the lightest colour, so I chose something randomly.

I’ve been attratcted from this loose powder, I usually really like this kind of translucent powders since they are supposed to minimize skin’s imperfections. But not I regret I didn’t pick the Healthy Mix Powder instead of this!

Bourjois Flower Perfection Powder is a loose transparent powder, a sort of all these HD powders which came out lately. It claims a smoothing result and it would reduce fine lines’ appereance. It has spf15 and it’s quite cheap: 11.95 euro.

Talc • Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer • Titanium Dioxide • Zinc Oxide • Silica • Alumina • Aqua (Water) • Stearic Acid • Caprylyl Glycol • CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide) • Parfum (Fragrance) • Methicone • Paraffinum Liquidum (Mineral oil) • Triethoxycaprylylsilane • Glycerin • Glyceryl Caprylate • Phenylpropanol • Isomalt • CI 77491 (Iron Oxides) • Hexyl Cinnamal • Linalool • Limonene • CI 77492 (Iron Oxides) • Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone • Lecithin • Rhododendron Ferrugineum Leaf Cell Culture Extract • Sodium Benzoate • Lactic Acid 11BMT002-1

Unfortunately I couldn’t find any positive qualities. It has a very strong scent, it gives headache! Then it leaves a sort of white cast, even on my very fair skin. Last but not least, it doesn’t mattify at all and I don’t have a very oily skin.

For me it has been a bad purchase, for the same kind of product I prefer much more Neve Cosmetics’ Hollywood powder which also has better ingredients.

At the end I swapped this with Alessandra from Soffice Lavanda which seems to love it, I’m so happy for this!
