Today’s review is about Maybelline Color Tattoo. You can find them at a good price at Feelunique*.
Everyone is talking about them with enthusiastic reviews, looking at them as Mac Paint Pots dupes.
So, these are my 2cents about Maybelline Color Tattoo eyeshadows, in 65 Pink Gold and 15 Endless Purple.
They are cream eyeshadows claimed to last for 24 hours. Well usually I don’t wear make up for 24 hours but I can only say that where you put them they last perfect until you remove them.
Texture is creamy, just like as Mac Paint Pots, so different from Chanel Illusion d’Ombre (softer, mousse-like) or MUFE Aqua Cream (stiffer).
Unfortunately I don’t like them both. Pink Gold is gorgeous. Really. The colour is a shimmery warm peachy pink with golden undertones which can brighten your entire face, not only your eyes. It has an incredible perk effect and I usually can’t wear pink on my eyes because it always make me look tired and ill, but not this one! It has become a staple in my stash: when I want a simply eye, fresh and youthful I go for this one.
But Endless Purple is different. I wanted to love it so, so much but I just can’t: it has a poor colour payoff and it remains uneven on your eyes, no matter how you pack or blend. Such a pity, because colour in itself is the *perfect* purple.
You can use Maybelline Color Tattoo eyeshadows alone or as a base for eyeshadows. I am a big fan of cream eyeshadows – in pot or stick form – as bases and I find that these ones work as perfect as Mac Paints and Paint Pots at a littler price. So, I highly recommend them, everyone needs one of these 😉

io non li ho mai provati ma sei l’ennesima persona che parla male del viola e ogni volta mi si spezza il cuore, concordo con te che il colore sia molto interessante… ma senza resa…
Misato il viola è sempre una tragedia per ombretti e matite e non so perché :/
