Time for June Favourites!

Days are passing by so fast and I have so much work to do that I think I won’t live a single day of holiday this summer! So, another month is over and we’re already in the middle of summer. Last month I switched to bb creams since traditional foundation are a bit heavy on skin in warmer days and I preferred a simple eye make up.

• Missha BB Cream Signature Real: as I said I switched to bb creams for summer, as I need higher sunscreen protection (but for a serious sun protection I use real sunscreens of course, take a look at my post about my favourites: ) and a lighter product. I don’t like tinted moisturizer or commercial bb creams, but original oriental bb creams are the best for me in summer. Two months ago I made a haul at bbcreamshop, I think it deserves a post about it! Last year I wrote a couple of posts about bb creams, may I write a new one with some new bb creams if you’re interested in 🙂

• Anastasia Beverly Hills Bold & Beautiful kit: I spent years drooling over Anastasia Beverly Hills products but I couldn’t find a EU reseller until I discovered Cultbeauty. I bought this kit a month ago and I used every single day, really, until a couple of days ago because pans are so tiny and I fear that I could run it out! Review’s coming soon 😉

• Mac Mineralize Foundation Loose: again, just a month ago. I love it over the bb cream for a perfect and flawless coverage or alone when I don’t want too much make up. It warms up my face in a such natural way, love it.

• Neve Cosmetics Hollywood HD Powder: the low cost dupe for MUFE HD Powder. If you’re not Italian you can shop Neve cosmetics range at some UK resellers (beautychamber, cutecosmetics, cocktail cosmetics…). Silky, flawless finish and oil control.

• Inglot AMC Liquid Blush: it seems a good dupe for MUFE HD Blush. Extremely pigmented, blends it out easily but after 4-5 it starts fading… I’d like to finish it but it’s HUGE.

• OCC Concealer: everyone was talking about this concealer some months ago. High coverage, it doesn’t mark fine lines but I chose a shade too light for me; it’s quite forgiving because if blended it looks good but I think that the Kardashian effect is sooo 90’s… (come si dice tamarro in inglese??) The other downside is that it contains paraffinum liquidum and it’s stated that it does not contain mineral oil. Are you fucking kidding me?

• Neve Cosmetics Chateau Mineral Eyeshadow: it was part of French Royalty collection; it’s a nice neutral brown with which I blend out bold colours but its lasting power is very poor. Hope to finish it!

• Kiko Cosmetics Long Lasting Sticks: another Italian brand which started selling abroad. This year is all about stick eyeshadows (Chanel, Clinique, Jouer Cosmetics…). It’s all the same thing. These ones are pretty good, they’re cheap and last forever on me. But I had a bad reaction with some colours…I don’t know why.

• Mac Haute&Naughty Mascara: I finished my Essence I Love Extreme mascara and started this one. It’s a double mascara: if you it on top you’ll have an extremely natural look (very good for no makeup makeups), if you open it on the purple side it gives a fuller effect. Not bad at all.

• Mac Heroine Lipstick: extremely wearable, indeed. I’m using it almost every day when I want colourful lips and I find it so easy pairing it with so much looks!

• Mac Lipglass Rhythm*: it simply pairs with Heroine Lipstick so well…

• Nars Sex Machine Velvet Matte Lip Pencil: this is also a newin and I’m using it every other day I want natuarl lips. A perfect mlbb shade, it makes me feel perfect.
