Today Illamasqua launches its fall 2013 collection called The Sacred Hour. The collection is based as usual on a great visual concept thanks to Alex Box‘s talent. Promo pictures recall fantasy and magic worlds which unify an ethereal and strong at the same time beauty’s idea. Really my cup of tea. These pictures are pure art, indeed. I can’t think about anything more beautiful and charming! It’s like magic mashed up with a gothic athmosphere. As you all know, Illamasqua is all about an unconventional idea of beauty, promoting various subcultures and various way to express beauty itself. I think that Illamasqua The Sacred Hour collection express really what I feel inside and almost everything I am.
We’ll have an eyeshadow palette with earthy and deep tones, two “velvet” blushes, a vampy lipstick, two iridiscent nail polishes and a new product: the Skin Base Lift, a brightening concealer. The velvet blushes are a new finish for Illamasqua: they are have a cream-to-powder formula which is supposed to blend easily into skin but with a matte finish, just like velvet indeed.
Let’s see images!
Reflection Palette
Velvet Blusher in Sleek and Peaked
False Lashes in Lush and Angled Brush
Nail Varnish in Facet and Hemlock
Precision Gel Eyeliner, Lipstick in Shard and New Skin Base Lift
What do you think about this collection? I really like the vampy Shard lipstick and I’m really curious about the concealer… I’m wondering to get some pieces, I’m in love with this goth mixed up with fantasy concept! The pink blush is gorgeous too and I’m pretty addicted to pink blushes, you know! But I have so many blushes right now so I think I’ll skip this one even if I’m intrigued form the new formula!
