Today’s review is about Caudalie Vinexpert Serum Anti-Age Yeaux et Lèvres. I must confess I’m always nervous when it comes to review skincare products. Well, even if I’m talking about make up I always hope that my readers know that every skin is different, plus I always tend to avoid words to be intended in an absolute way. I only write about my own personal experience and these are my impressions without any “you have to buy it!” or “don’t EVER buy it!”.
So, things are way more difficult with skincare products. My skin is not an easy one, at all. I’m acne prone but with dry, sensitive skin so I have to choose my beauty routine carefully.
Let’s talk about this Caudalie Vinexpert Serum. It is part of the Caudalie Vinexpert range which it’s thought for an anti-age concern. Vinexpert range has been recently relaunched with a new fancier packaging and a boost into the formulation with a new patented ingredient, the Reservatrol Oleyl. Mine is from the old formula, so keep that in mind when you read my review. The product itself is the same but the new one is even more effective.
This serum is meant to stretch out eyelids and firm the eye and lips area. It reduce eye bags, fine lines and dark circles.
The main ingredients are:
- Resveratrol
- Fern
- Tetrapeptides
- Hamamelis
- Wheat wax
- Squalane
- White Lily
- Camomile
The Caudalie Vinexpert Serum Anti-Age Yeaux et Lèvres has a really thin texture, more fluid than a gel. The colour is slightly yellow but has a transparent base. I used this product only on my eye area because I just need some hydration there and I don’t (already) have fine lines on my lip area contour. It is quite refreshening when you put it on but I’d don’t say it has a cooling effect, unless you keep it in the fridge of course. It contains 15ml of product but since a very little goes a long way it will last several months. As I said, you’ll need a tiny amount, a half pea perhaps, for both eyes. It glides very easily and it takes some seconds to be well absorbed into skin. It does not leave any unpleasent grease effect and you can put make up on after less than one minute.
After application my eye area skin looks a lot more hydrated and tense. I’m using Caudalie Vinexpert Serum Anti-Age Yeaux et Lèvres since February and I noticed that I don’t have anymore accentuated bags and some fine lines are disappeared, but please consider that I’m only 29. Despite I really loved this product, I don’t think I’ll repurchase right now since I want to try a creamier, richier texture for this winter. Nevertheless this is a great profuct for summer and for those who are looking for a light texture with a real moisturizing property.
