I had the chance to try for free the well known Firmoo eyeglasses. First of all I want to explain how the First Pair Free program works. If you sign up a new account you can choose a pair of prescription eyeglasses for free, you only have to pay shipping costs.
As a blogger I had the opportunity to receive a completely free pair of eyeglasses in order to review Firmoo eyeglasses system.
If you need prescription eyeglasses you have to make your choice carefully, so I highly recommend to choose your glasses based on a eye doctor’s advice. You will need all of your prescription’s details to get your glasses properly.
You have to pay attention to measurements: Firmoo provides all details. Please pay particularly attention to the temple length to avoid glasses that will slip off. Then, after choosing your favourite frame, you have to add your prescription’s details: PD (pupillary distance, really important!), the SPH (sphere: it measures your nearsightedness) and/or the CYL (cylinder: astigmatism).
You’ll get standard lenses. Then you can add various extras: thinner lenses, polycarbonate lenses etc. I chose to add – obviously you pay each extra – the anti-reflective add and the UV coating. You can also add a tint so you’ll have prescription sunglasses. I’m only -1.25 and I don’t have particular problems but as I already said I highly recommend to listen to your doctor’s advice (as I did).
Delivery to Italy has been really fast, I received my glasses after 1 week. I’m really impressed with Firmoo eyeglasses, indeed. I was a bit skeptical because I’ve always spent a lot of money in eyeglasses but I can see no difference with these ones. Lenses seem really good in quality and the plastic is quite solid.
