MAC Maleficent collection: with official colour story and pictures

A couple of days ago some MAC Maleficent collection pictures appeared on Instagram, so we already know both colour story and offcial pictures of all products, though I didn’t receive official press release yet.

And finally we can see the special packaging! I read some disappointed reactions to this collection. Honestly I didn’t expect something different from Maleficent movie promo picture: so a lot of attention to sculpting, neutral and sculpted eyes and deep red lips. And that’s what we’ll get with MAC Maleficent collection. There are some favourites of mine in this collection, such as the Prep + Prime Highlighter and the Eye Brows pencil which are my MAC holy grails. I can’t wait to see in real life the red True Love’s Kiss Lipstick, it seems a deep, sultry red with strong cool undertone, I’d say my cup of tea indeed, plus is has such a pretty name 😀 while I’m not a fan of Pro Longwear Lip Pencils, I think they’re my most hated MAC product. I have plenty of finishing powder so I’d skip Beauty Powder but I may get Sculpt since it has packaging and it’s not in single pan form. I missed previous MAC Disney’s Villains collection even if I’m a Disney addict but I’m not into all this recent Princesses & Villains hype. I’m so vintage even on this matter. Nor I feel the Maleficent movie excitement – I hope you all know that Angelina’s cheekbones are heavy photoshopped do you? I don’t want to see in real life tons of ugly brown cheeks, please -, nevertheless I really like this special packaging and the collection’s concept.
