MAC Black Ivy Fluidline – Moody Blooms Collection
When I saw first images from MAC Cosmetics Moody Blooms Collection I’ve been immediately really impressed. I think that Moody Blooms visual and concept are one of the most interesting ones among recent MAC Cosmetics collections.
Though, I didn’t plan a haul from Moody Blooms collections simply because I have too many things and I hate accumulating similar products too much.
Nevertheless last week at the MAC counter I’ve been captured from the beautiful display. I really love how MAC connected radiant orchid, colour of the year 2014, with the green, rain forest theme which recall another colour trend for this spring summer 2014, hemlock.
I do think that the most interesting items in this collection are eye products: eyeshadows and fluidlines. I didn’t get any of the eyeshadows because I have already too many but I couldn’t help falling in love with MAC Black Ivy fluidline. Fluidlines are one of my most favourite products from MAC Cosmetics. I didn’t spend too much time glazing at Nightshade fluidline because I already have Macroviolet (permanent) and Added Goodness (limited edition from Shop, shop, shop Cook, cook, cook collection) and they are similar to this one in a certain way. But oh my gosh MAC Black Ivy is absolutely stunning. I don’t have anything similar in my stash. MAC Black Ivy fluidline is described as a blackened green. I think it’s more a dark teal, a forest green with a strong petrol blue undertone.
You know, MAC fluidlines are not all the same. Some are completely matte, some have shimmers, some have a so – so colour payoff and some are more glittery and sheer. Plus, among the latters there are a few with a good colour payoff (Catch my eye) and some are really meh. Maybe I’ll do a collective post with all my MAC fluidlines.
MAC Black Ivy has micro shimmers on a matte base. It has a great texture: full pigmentation in one layer and glides on smoothly. It has amazing staying power, it is smudgeproof and waterproof. As all other MAC fluidlines you can use it as a classic eyeliner, onto your waterline, as coloured eye base or to line your eyes for a smoky eyes since you can smudge it with a brush before it sets.
You can still shop MAC Moody Blooms collection and Black Ivy fluidline in stores and online at maccosmetics.com.

Com’è bello!**
Ultimamente però mi trovo ad usare poco gli eyeliner in gel per cui non so se ne varrebbe la spesa (LE a parte :D)
