Nails Trends AW15-16 with Morgan Taylor
We’re in the middle of Milan Fashion Week and I’ve been at Stella Jean‘s backstage to find out all beauty trends for next fall winter season. Here you can read about make up, now I want to talk about Nails Trends AW15-16. For the Stella Jean fashion show it was Morgan Taylor with Antonio Sacripante and his team to take care of models’ nails. For the show he chose a nude colour, because it represents femininity paired with male pieces of the outfits. There are indeed female and male pieces mixed together for this Himalayan inspired collection’s concept giving a unique and perfect balance to outfits.
Here there is an interview to Antonio Sacripante about the collection and the new Nails Trends AW15-16:
Grey is one of the most trendy colour as we saw in New Work, in every shade from light to dark. Furthermore, at New York Fashion Week there was a shiny/matte manicure in grey shades. Another big trend will be nude manicure, that is always a great classic in every season. For next season we’ll see a slow return of squared manicure with some classic french. Reverse french has been a great success: there will be reverse french manicure for Cinderella movie’s launch. As for Stella Jean, there is a mix of different styles. She made her stylistic tendency from travels. This year she explored Indian and Himalayan area. The look is a mix of masculine and feminine combined together. This idea is also revealed in the manicure: an elegant, very shiny nude. Any other colour could have been too androgynous or too feminine. The shape is oval on a short nail. We applied a vitamin based base coat, two coats of colour, then a shiny top coat to enhance the feminine side.
