Nail Polishes for Spring 2015
Let’s talk about nail polishes for Spring 2015. The collections I found more interesting for this season are from Rimmel, OPI and CND.
Rimmel plays with a great spring classic: pastels. Rimmel Nail Polish Spring 2015 Collection is called Sweetie Heart Matte Pastel. Even if the colours in this collection are nothing really new they come in an interesting finish: it’s quite uncommon to see matte pastels for a spring collection. What do you think about macarons-like nails? I have to admit that this packaging is overly cute: sweets are everyone’s weakness, aren’t they? Add a retro feeling with this oh-so-french packaging and it’s done. I’d play with them doing a colourful, funny reverse french.
Rimmel Sweetie Heart Collection
- #001 Cheeky Girl is a delicate ballerina pink.
- #002 Chase Me is a refreshening pistachio colour.
- #003 Cheeky Cap is a lovely cornflower blue.
- #004 Love Bug is a radiant buttercup yellow.
- #005 You’re Mine is a bon ton apricot.
I really like Rimmel‘s nail polishes formula. They’re incredibly cheap, they provide a great coverage with only one coat and they dry immediately. Plus they last almost a full week even without top coat.
OPI goes exotic with Hawaii Collection for Spring 2015. 12 vivid and bright colours are inspired by the famous island. When spring comes you can’t really help to embrace full colour and these shades are inspired by those beautiful and lush natural colours: flowers, plants, sunrises, shores, etc.
