Physicians Formula Sexy Booster Sexy Glow Blush
Physicians Formula arrived only recently here in Italy and people are still discovering it. I was lucky enough to receive some products to test. You may already have seen Physicians Formula Youthful Wear Cosmeceutical Youth-Boosting Dark Circle Corrector + Concealer in a couple of my monthly favourites posts. Anyway, today I want to write a review about Physicians Formula Sexy Booster Sexy Glow Blush*. Isn’t it the cutest blush you’ve ever seen?
Accordingly to Physicians Formula, it is infused with the scent of warm vanilla, “afterglow” illumination and pheromone-mimicking ingredients including clinically tested Androstadienone, Cocoa Extract (aka “the Love Chemical”) and ancient aphrodisiac Horny Goatweed to enhance your sexy side. Plus, it is Hypoallergenic. Paraben-Free. Gluten Free. Oil-Free. Dermatologist Approved. Non-Comedogenic.
Well, I don’t know if it makes me sexier or more appealing (!) but it is indeed one of the prettiest make up product to look at out there.
First of all, some warnings: Physicians Formula Sexy Booster Sexy Glow Blush smells of vanilla. I think it’s not an overwhelming smell, I find it really pleasant and delicious but be aware if you prefer unscented cosmetics or if you’re allergic to perfumes. Second, it has a huge amount of shimmer. These aren’t chunky glitters, but stay away if you prefer matte blushes.
The packaging is really to die for, so well finished; the blush itself has a stiletto pump on the top and it’s not just a overspray but it’s really a relief. It has a magnetic closure and a brush inside and a mirror. I always prefer to apply it with my blush brushes but it’s really handy for touch-ups or for travelling.
The colour may suit every complexion: it’s a delicate well balanced pink, not too cool nor too warm. It gives you a youthful and radiant flush which makes you really feel sexy, indeed. As I said, it is very shimmery. Well, I’d better say it has a frosty finish, the frostier blush I’ve ever seen probably. It has the same finish of a highlighter with a coloyr payoff of a blush. Think about a MAC Mineralize Skinfinish with a better texture and more pigmentation. Compared to a MSF, Physicians Formula Sexy Booster Sexy Glow Blush has a very finely milled texture, without any chunky glitter in it, only a silky, yet evident sheen. Plus it’s not powdery at all.
Lasting power could be better, though. As you may know a few blushes last well on me. Physicians Formula Sexy Booster Sexy Glow Blush starts to fade after 4-5 hours but the shimmer is still visible after 6-7 hours.
Last but not least, it’s really affordable! Physicians Formula is one of the most good high street brands out there.
