MAC Philip Treacy – Royal Wink Fluidline
I was waiting for April 2015 impatiently because it was going to be a great month for MAC Cosmetics and all MAC addicted out there. Today I want to talk about an exceptional collaboration: MAC Cosmetics and Philip Treacy created MAC Philip Treacy Collection.
For those of you who don’t know (shame on you!), Philip Treacy is an Irish hat designer. One of the most brilliant and creative fashion designer out there.
Here it is official description and concept of MAC Philip Treacy Collection:
Going back through his extraordinary career, Treacy culled inspiration from his work to create a trio of sensational headpieces that showcase the structure of the face. Paired with each hat, a collection of products that enhances the face’s most evocative features.
As you read, in MAC Philip Treacy Collection we have three Fluidline eyeliners and three Lipsticks leading the collection. Then we have two Pro Longwear Paint Pots, two Highlight Powder, a False Lashes mascara and 127 brush to complete the look. Bold lips in red and fuchsia paired with extreme graphic eyeliner to frame the eyes, in blackest black and boldest blue.
Here it is official MAC Philip Treacy Collection colour story.

From this collection I got Royal Wink Fluidline. Fluidlines are maybe my favourite product from MAC and I really couldn’t resist to add new colours in my collection. A couple of days ago I ordered on MAC site two colours from MAC is Beauty Collection but today I couldn’t help to get Royal Wink too when I saw MAC Philip Treacy Collection in store. I also really liked Hollywood Cerise but right now I have too many lipsticks in my stash.
Royal Wink is a bright, bold cobalt, royal blue without shimmers. It is slightly creamier than my other Fluidlines. It goes on really smoothly, it looks incredibly vibrant. It was a permanent colour, then MAC discontinued it. I am so happy to have been able to find it again! It is really easy to apply, I recomend using an angled brush such as MAC 263. The great thing about Fluidlines is that you can also use them as an eyeshadow base, as a cream eyeshadow, into your waterline or to paint your brows (even in crazy colours). Royal Wink can be smudged easily to create a diffused look. On me Fluidlines last all day and night long without fading!
