I bought this Burberry Lip Velvet n°308 Pink Azalea after the makeover at a Burberry’s counter and it was too gorgeous to not pick it up.

Matte lips are my current obsession: I find them so elegant and they stay in place for hours without bleeding. And if you find a good formula you can use them even if you have dry lips (well, it’s better exfoliate them first 😉 ).

Burberry Lip Velvet are a recent launch for this fall. They come in a super pretty matte magnetic packaging with trench pattern on it and you find the same pattern even on lipstick itself.

I chose n°308 Pink Azalea, an intense raspberry red-pink, surprisingly wearable in many occasions and looks. I don’t have any problem wearing an intense lipstick during daytime, even on mornings and for work, but I find this shade really flattering even for these uses.

Burberry Lip Velvet formula feels really like velvet on lips: it glides easily and you can apply it directly from the tube, you won’t do damages without a lip brush. It doesn’t bleed and doesn’t dry out lips, a lot less compared to Mac Matte lipstick (which I love though). This lipstick remain comfortable on lips even after several hours and it lasts perfeclty through 6 hours (even after eating), then it begins fading leaving a nice stain. It is very smooth and doesn’t mark any line.

I think this is the best formula I’ve tried so far; I know it’s a pricey lipstick (around 26 euro) but it’s worth every cent.
