Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil
During last months I finished several make-up products that I never reviewed. I think it’s time to recover. Today I want to talk about a cult product: the Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil.
Hourglass Cosmetics was just arrived in Milan and I was dying to see their products in real life. Thanks to a 20% off discount code I bought an eyebrow pencil for €30. Yep, discounted price.
Now that you returned to consciousness you may be still interested in reading my opinion about this luxury product.
Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil does have a unique triangular shape. It is supposed – and it really does – to add volume and multi-dimensional shape to your brows. I’ve never seen an eyebrow product similar to this one. It is just like a combined eyebrow pencil, powder and wax at the same time. The formula is stiff but in a good way since it allows a precise and uber-natural application. It delivers a good pigmentation as well. While filling your eyebrows, it fixes them so they stay in shape all day long.
Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil is the perfect and the most beautiful product if you like full, luxurious and natural looking eyebrows. I’ve never seen such a natural result with an eyebrow pencil before. Of course, the shape doesn’t allow to fill your eyebrows in a detailed way: you can’t draw hair by hair so I recommend it to those people who already have full eyebrows.
When I bought Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil there were only three colours available:
- Blonde – light neutral taupe
- Soft Brunette – medium brown
- Dark Brunette – dark brown
I chose Soft Brunette since I didn’t want a super strong result but maybe Dark Brunette could work as well for a medium brunette like me. It does have a cool undertone so it’s perfect if you don’t like warm toned eyebrows.
For this Fall 2015 Hourglass added new shades to the range so you have a lot more options right now:
- Platinum Blonde – lightest cool blonde/platinum
- Warm Blonde – dark blonde/strawberry blonde
- Auburn – medium to deep red tones
- Warm Brunette – warm medium brown
- Natural Black – darkest brown to black
- Ash – gray/dark brown with cool undertones
Last but not least, let me say how much I love the brush for eyebrow grooming. I didn’t think that could be such a difference among these brushes! It has the perfect shape to put your eyebrows in perfect order as if you’ve just seen a beautician.
Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil is a ridiculously pricey product, indeed, but it is worth the money. There are lot of cheaper and excellent alternatives for your eyebrows but I honestly couldn’t find a product like this one.
