June 2015 Favourites – My Most Played
This month I enjoyed a lot trying new combinations for my base make up. I’m more and more embracing the concept of radiant, transparent skin mixing various products and using a little bit of foundation. It’s all a matter of quantities and playing with different textures. In order to do this, recently I’ve been always using a recent purchase, the new MAC Cosmetics Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation. Beware that this runs lighter than other MAC foundations. For example, my match for classic Pro Longwear Foundation is NW13. With this one NW15 is way lighter but I’m glad I got this colour because I like using it blended with other foundations since it’s too matte for me. I love using it with Face and Body Foundation since N1 is a bit dark for my skintone or as a concealer or blended with a luminous primer. In this case, I love it along with Laura Mercier Radiance Primer. Since it is full coverage I only need a teeny tiny bit mixed with this amazing primer to get a flawless natural looking face. The primer brings out all the glow and the radiance from within my face without looking sparkling or greasy.

Another base combo I’m fond of is using MAC Cosmetics Mineralize Skinfinish in Light only on my T-zone and for this purpose 137 Brush is perfect. Seriously, I can’t live anymore without this brush: it’s perfect for blending all powder products, to apply powder without a cakey or heavy effect and to add a touch of highlighter.

On my lips I frequently used this Diego Dalla Palma Velvet Mat Liquid Lipstick n.109 Viola Cardinale. Unfortunately, this was a Fall 2014 limited edition but my friend Misato gave it to me as a present. This is the best both matte and liquid lipstick formula I’ve ever tried, hands down. Way better than infamous Lime Crime Velvetines. I can’t wait to see new MAC Cosmetics Retro Matte Liquid Lipsticks to compare them.
This month I couldn’t help to include in this selection two body products. The first one is Eisenberg Sérum Amincissant Corps*. I’m always skeptical about slimming products but this serum is very pleasant to apply and it does have some effects. I’ve been applied for more than a month twice a day on my legs and arms and I can notice that my skin is more compact, smoother and a lot more toned; they look a bit slender too.
The other product I’ve been using non-stop is my beloved Vita Liberata Capture the Light*. You can read my review here. It gives my white legs a hint of tint and a radiant looking, I’m way more confident to use dresses and skirts this summer!
