5 Mascara You Have to Try Right Now
Recently, I had the opportunity to test different mascaras at the same time. They really impressed me well in some way, so I’m here to share my thoughts about them. Some have already been launched, some are brand new launches. But they are all worth buying. Let’s see these 5 Mascara you have to try right now in detail.

Let’s start from the bottom. Laura Mercier Extra Lash Sculpting Mascara* ($25) is a new one. It is described as a long-wearing mascara with a creamy formula. What is innovative about this mascara? It is supposed to give the lasches built-in-memory control for an extreme styling. The plastic molded brush comb is really big, thick, flexible and grips all the smallest lashes. The texture glides easily and my lashes get an instant shape. It doesn’t leave my lashes clumpy and I don’t have to build it up since from the first application my lashes are lenghtened, volumized and separated.

Sephora Outrageous Curl* ($12) is another recent release. It has the smallest molded brush I’ve ever seen. It is perfect for building lashes and detailed application. It isn’t flexible at all and thanks to its compact size it’s perfect for a complete control. It is supposed to provide a dramatic volume and curl. It really adds a lot of volume and my lashes are the blackest black. The best thing about it is that you can work it from roots to tips and it works amazingly on bottom lashes too.

I already reviewed new Benefit Roller Lash* ($24) here. Inspired by hair rollers, with its patented Hook and Roll curled brush it separates, lifts and curls the lashes without any needing of an eyelash curler. It is perfect if you have straight lashes since it holds up the curl up to 12 hours. It doesn’t have too much volume though, therefore you have to apply 2 or more coats. It has an extremely flexible molded brush for an effortlessly application.

Nabla Cosmetics Le Film Noir (€12.50) is a more natural, affordable choice if you’re more into indie brands. Nabla is an Italian indie brand that ships internationally. This mascara is rich in castor oil which is really good for your lashes’ growth and it is Silicone, Mineral oil, Parabens, Pegs, Phthalates, Edta free. Furthermore, it is vegetarian friendly but not vegan friendly due to beeswax. This is the only mascara from the bunch which has a traditional brush, made from nylon fibres. It has a unique conic comb which allows to get all the shortest lashes and the outer ones. Although it is described as a volumizing mascara, it doesn’t add a lot of volume. But it is extremely lenghtening and leaves your lashes well defined and separated. It is perfect if you want a languid, romantic look.

Along with Haute & Naughty Lash, MAC Cosmetics In Extreme Dimension Lash ($22) is my favourite mascara from this brand. Another mascara with plastic molded-brush, really long and dense. It provides a dramatic effect: the maximum volume and maximum lenght. It doesn’t curl too much my lashes though so I previously curl my lashes with my beloved Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler: this combo gives me the perfect ‘false lashes‘ look for a real ‘doe eyes‘ effect.
