Hi! In past few days Neve Cosmetics launched new Pastello natural pencils, this time for lips.
Pastello – Biomatite Labbra natural lip colours come in a range of 8 shades, plus a lip pencil for outer lining for a perfect lips look.
They are all made with natural ingredients, no parabens, silicons or petrolatum. And they are completely vegetarian, vegan and cruelty free.
These are the colours.
– Inverno / Mauve: pale nude-cool pink
– Ballerina / Pink: neutral pink
– Marmotta / Rose: antique rose
– Salmone / Peach: pure peach
– Peperoncino / Scarlet: warm red
– Teatro / Crimson: cool red
– Fenicottero / Fuchsia: bright fuchsia
– Vino / Burgundy: burgundy red
Then there is Perfettina, the lip contouring pencil.
In this post I show you Inverno / Mauve, Ballerina / Pink, Fenicottero / Fuchsia, Vino / Burgundy and Perfettina (I bought them as a set on www.nevecosmetics.it).

I thought Inverno / Mauve could be a bit unflattering, but on my lips is a pretty nude cool pink, and it pairs very well with all light pink lipstick (Mac Viva Glam Gaga, Creme Cup, Angel, Snob etc.
Ballerina / Pink is my perfect mlbb; it has the same colour of my natural lips, so it goes well with pretty much every pink, neutral lipstick.
Fenicottero / Fuchsia is a nice bright pink – fuchsia. It is not too cool, I think it’s well balanced. I pair it with Mac Viva Glam Nicki, Party Parrot, Moxie.
Vino / Burgundy is burgundy, indeed. I wished it to be purpler but it’s ok: it’s perfect with any vampy lip colour as Chanel L’Impatiente and Mac Diva for examples.
Perfettina is not transparent. It’s not matte as Mac Chromagraphic N15/20 pencil and not as shimmery as Guerlain Cupidon. I think it’s just perfect in its finish: I love to use it on my lip contour to give more definition and a “well finished” look. It brightens my Cupid’s bow in a natural way and you can use it also blended at the centre of your lips to get them look fuller.

All Pastello lip colours are incredibly pigmented and they glide extremely easily; the blend very well and they are smooth but not too much, so they don’t dry out your lips too much and you cand draw perfect lines at the same time.
Plus, they come at a very reasonably price, so I really recommend them!
