Fall Winter 2013-2014 Sales Haul

During last years I tried to pay more attention to create my own personal style. I like retro, British schoolgirl – librarian girl style, I think it matches very well my personality and mood.

Plus, since some months I’m trying to buy things that could highlight my qualities, i.e. my hourglass body. (Italian readers: take a look at Moda per Principianti)

And I completely agree with Vivienne Westwood‘s statement: Buy less, choose well.

Is it possible buying high quality clothes? I’m lucky enough to have some (real) Made in Italy choices. I usually buy my clothes in three stores: Lazzari during seasonal sales, Yoox.com online outlet and Diffusione Tessile, the Max Mara group outlet. During sales I can afford some pieces at regular Zara prices.

Unicorns, Peter Pan and tulle.

During Fall Winter 2013-2014 sales, I bought a lot from Lazzari fall winter collection, all at 30% and 50% off: two dresses (blue and coated black) with peter pan collars, a peter pan collar sweater and a knitting one with unicorns pattern. Then I couldn’t resist to a tulle skirt with little stars and a lovely t-shirt with little hats pattern.

Best jeans in the world.

I think that J Brand pants are the best pants ever. Unreasonably pricey, though. But affordable if you buy them at Yoox during sales! These are  dark forest green skinny jeans and they have an amazing wearability.

My dream came true.

Last but not least I finally found a Cambridge Satchel Company bag at 40% off. This is a limited edtion with a tartan pattern. Now I can really say I’m a British librarian girl 😀
