March 2014 Favourites: #teammostplayed
Hi! It’s already time for a favourites post, so this is my March 2014 Favourites post. From this month I decided to team up with a bunch of other lovely beauty bloggers for #teammostplayed. The idea of this hashtag is from Chiara (GoldenVi0let). Instead of talking only about products we loved the most during last month we prefer talking about things we used the most, our most played items. Indeed I already talked about my most played products during my monthly favourites posts, simply because I have so much stuff and I try to rotate various products every month.

As you can see there some products I own from several months and some new entries. Talking about base make up I alternated my almost used up YSL Le Teint Touch Éclat Foundation and my recent purchase, the infamous 123 Perfect CC Cream by Bourjois: every blogger is talking about it right now and I have to say that I now understand all the hype. It provides good coverage and it’s lightweight, a perfect base for springly summery days. As concealer I’m using almost every day Bourjois Healthy Mix Illuminating Brush Concealer, another recent purchase. I really dislike this product since it doesn’t conceal dark circles and it doesn’t illuminate at all. Another Bourjois product 😀 this time is Cream Blush in 04 Sweet Cherry. I really like this little round pot. I don’t find it has a cream-to-powder product – so, not a dupe for Chanel Le Blush Crème at all – but it’s a super pretty cream blush which stays on for several hours. Colour is not really cherry, but a sort of peach with red undertones. Another cream blush, this one is Tarte Cheek Stain in Blushing Bride, a beautiful warm pink slightly pearlized. For powder I chose Hourglass Ambient Lighting in Diffused Light. I have to test it better under a lot more lights but for now I prefer Dim Light. On my eyes I used a lot cream eyeshadows, especially MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Vintage Selection and Chanel Illusion d’Ombre in Illusoire. My brow product is always Laura Mercier Eyebrow Pencil in Warm Brunette. For lips I gave my love to OCC Lip Tar in Lydia and MAC Lipglass in Orange Tempera, I always fear that cream products go to waste too soon.
