June 2014 Favourites: my most played
It’s already time for another make up favourites post. This time I show you my June 2014 favourites. The #teammostplayed series is a project created by a fellow blogger of mine, Goldenvi0let.
In these posts I talk about my most used products during last month, not necessarily products I liked the most.
Nevertheless during June I really liked all of my most played products, so this month has been a true June 2014 favourites post 😀
As you can see below I enjoyed a couple of products for my base, I alternated two light foundations that I find perfect for hot days. Have you already check my Best Summer Foundations? On my eyes I changed products almost every day so I don’t have any most played product for this month, except for one of my biggest holy grails.
My June 2014 favourites:
Becca Luminous Skin Colour in Porcelain: this is basically a tinted moisturizer with a pretty good SPF25. I highly appreciate that it comes even in fair shades. Porcelain colour is good enough for my NC15 but it would work even bettern on N10 skintones.
MAC Cosmetics Face and Body Foundation in N1: I’ve been really surprised by this water based foundation and I finally understand why it is so highly appreciated by MUAs during fashion shows and photoshoots. It looks really transparent but your skin appears even and beautyfied. It is buildable for a decent coverage and it feels absolutely nothing on skin.
Nars Light Reflecting Pressed Setting Powder: Nars came out with this HD powder for the silica based powders series. It has a real soft focus effect, skin is more even and flawless. It’s not a matte powder but it’s good for my combination skin since I don’t get oily and it doesn’t dry me out.
Nars Orgasm Blush: Nars blushes are my long time favourite. This month I used a lot the infamous Orgasm. Maybe it’s not the most unique in Nars blush range but I still find it really pretty. On me it’s a warm pink with peaches undertones infused with golden shimmers. I think it’s a perfect summery shade.
Lime Crime Velvetine in Suedeberry: I waited a long time before grabbing my hands on Lime Crime Velvetines. Every time I was ending in getting them they were sold out in every European site. Then I found the shades I wanted on Beautyjoint. Now I understand all the hype. They are really worth every cent. Suedeberry is one of the most unique shades I’ve ever seen and I never thought that I could pull off orangey lips!
Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil in Soft Brunette: this is the biggest splurge ever. But I understand why it’s so beloved by everyone. It’s perfect for a defined but super natural effect and it’s smudgeproof even during hot days.
MAC Cosmetics Paint in Untitled: in my opninion, this is one of the most underrated MAC products. MAC came out with Paint Pots to replace old Paints but some shades are still available. I really like Paint Pots too but some people state that Paint Pots crease on them while Paints don’t. I couldn’t think about a better eye base than this Paint: it’s creamy and blend easily, it sets fast but it’s not too dry so eyeshadows can glides on effortlessly. It enhances colours without changing them and it makes your eyeshadows last forever without creasing.
