August 2015 Favourites: My Most Played
It’s time for another post in #teammostplayed series created by lovely fellow blogger GoldenVi0let.
Finally this Summer is coming to en end. I really can’t stand the heat and my skin reacts badly to sun rays, hot and sweat. These past month I couldn’t stand a lot of products on my skin where I had a bad breakout due to sun intolerance so I only put a lightweight, refreshing tinted moisturizer (aka BareMinerals Complexion Rescue review here) or Bourjois Healthy Mix for night-outs.
Nevertheless I enjoyed make-up for my eyes. I played a lot with my beloved Nabla Cosmetics (a indie Italian vegan/green oriented brand) and some oldies but goldies by MAC Cosmetics from my A Novel Romance Collection haul.
August 2015 Favourites
As you can see, a lot of MAC purple. I love these Electric Cool cream eyeshadows, they also came back this summer! I highly recommend this perfect purple called Highly Charged since it’s so rare to find a purple eyeshadow with good performance. Then the A Passionate Quest palette is just so lovely: MAC eyeshadows are not terrific when it comes to pigmentation but they blend so easily and effortlessly that you can achieve a flawless, amazing result. I really do love them.
Here it is a close-up of Nabla eyeshadows from this Summer 2015 collection, called Butterfly Valley. They are extremely soft, creamy and blendable. Plus they are thought to be layered in order to create new, original reflects and hues.
These are the shades I get from the collection.
- First row, left to right: Wild Side, Peach Valley Clementine
- Second row, left to right: Unrestricted, Pegasus, Babylon
Maybe I’ll do a post focused on my all Nabla eyeshadows soon.
August 2015 Favourites
When I did a full face make-up, aka in the evening/special occasions/night-outs I can’t stop using Burberry Fresh Glow in Nude Radiance*. It is a liquid luminizer which can be used in many ways. Mixed with my foundation it gives me an amazing radiant, glowing, youthful look. It has the same effect when used as a primer, it also helps your foundation to blend easier.
At last, I’ve used almost every single day Lolita Everlasting Liquid Lipstick by Kat Von D. Its texture is super thin, it gives a velvet finish without drying out lips and it lasts well for several hours. The colour is a sort of mlbb, a natural rose with strong hazelnut undertones.
These are my August 2015 favourites and most played products, what about yours?

Ma io i prodotti in crema me li mangio, devo ancora capire come mai.
Vorrei poter dire lo stesso del liquid lipstick di KVD ma… ;_____;
