Anastasia Beverly Hills is worldwide known for its top-notch eyebrow products. Nevertheless a new range of single eyeshadows has been launched. However there were already available limited edition palettes with a nice collection of eyeshadows, sometimes in combo with eyebrow products.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Bold & Beautiful Kit is one of this combo eyeshadows / eyebrow products palette. To me it was a big deal, because I was dying to try its infamous eyebrow products, plus the eyeshadows seemed so pretty.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Bold & Beautiful Kit is probably a limited edition because I can’t find it on official e-store but it is still available on Amazon. But even if you can’t find it anymore I think my review may still be useful if you’re curious to know something about Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadows and eyebrow products.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Bold & Beautiful Kit is a kit made of two separate parts: one eyeshadow palette and all essential eyebrow products. This kit is meant to enhance both eyes and eyebrows in a natural way. Both parts, which are called volumes, are contained in a beautiful case which reproduces an ancient book in a precious edition. I think this is the most beautiful packaging I’ve seen so far in a cosmetic product.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Bold & Beautiful Kit is the perfect palette for travelling: in only one kit you have all essential products to do your eyes and eyebrows.
Vol. 1, aka the eyebrow part, contains everything you need to have your eyebrows perfect with the top quality for which Anastasia Beverly Hills is known. There is a pomade, a brow powder, a mini duo brush and mini tweezers. The pomade is a coloured wax in a medium brown colour, really buildable and adaptable to various complexions. The brow powder is maybe the most famous Anastasia Beverly Hills eyebrow product and I have the same one in the Brow Powder Duo. This one is a light-medium taupe which defines naturally and can be used by a lot of different people. The texture is quite hard in order to get the most precise result as possible. The staying power is amazing: my eyebrows are perfectly shaped and defined all day long, even in the worst conditions such as a terrible heat. The mini duo brush has the most perfect spooley end for grooming and blending and a soft but still precise angled brush. The mini tweezers made me realize that not all tweezers are the same and these ones are worth every cent if I’d have to buy them in full size form.
Vol. 2 aka the eyeshadow palette, features 4 neutral shades with a twist. There are
- a creamy beige shade with a strong warm, peach undertone which I use to uniform my eyelid up to the browbone since it is extremely similar to my skintone (NC15 with peach undertones)
- a shimmering salmon – peach with gold micro-shimmers; this is a really perk me up shade
- a pale hazelnut with matte finish infused with gold shimmers which barely translate to lid; this is the least pigmented of the bunch but it is perfect as a transition shade in the crease
- a matte black infused with a lot of bronze and gold glitters; one of the few black eyeshadows with a good colour payoff and glitters adhere to lid. Beautiful to define outer v and as eyeliner.
The texture of these eyeshadows is extremely similar to MAC ones. They’re not the most buttery or pigmented eyeshadows in the world but they’re really workable and blendable. They give you a nice and pretty result which is good for almost every occasion: a warm toned neutral eyes with a perk effect which can be intensified to a shimmering, sophisticated smoky. There is also an extremely useful real double-ended brush to apply and blend the eyeshadows.
