April 2014 Favourites: my Most Played beauty products
Here it is another chapter for #teammostplayed, the post series created by my fellow blogger Chiara. The idea is writing about products we used the most aka most played that are not necessary our favourites.
Usually my monthly favourites post are only make up related. I must consider if adding skincare and other beauty stuff but for my beauty – skincare routine I always stick to few products at the time so they’re always the same until I finish them. Maybe I’d rather write some ‘skincare routine at the moment’ posts.
Only make up products I said. But this month I had an extremely hard to fight, invincible flu. So, here it is a little April 2014 Favourites extra.
But let’s get back in topic to beauty April 2014 Favourites. As you can imagine I didn’t a lot of complex make up looks. However I played with some new entries in my stash and let me say I really love them all.
Let’s start with some oldies (but goldies) favourites. I really liked this YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation (review) during past months. I find that the best way to apply it is using Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge (review). I love the radiance that it gives you but despite the fact it has an extremely pleasant liquid-gel texture it’s not completely weightless. It is a lighweight foundation but you can still feel it on your face. And right now I prefer even more light textures. So I’m glad it’s almost finished, I can’t wait to swith to my summer foundations (Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream I’m looking to you)! I didn’t feel any concealer so I simply used the Sephora CC Eye Cream + Concealer. It’s extremely light so it doesn’t mark fne lines at all. It has universal colour but it matches me well so I’d suggest it only for fair-light complexions. It’s yellow based so it’s perfect to conceal any redness around your eyes area. Another product in my April 2014 Favourites is Daniel Sandler Watercolour Fluid Blusher in Cherub: it’s the most gorgeous tender pink in the world and I really have to review it soon. Blends effortlessly, just like a watercolour. On lips I couldn’t really stand any other thing than balm or gloss. You know I’m not really into glosses but these Laura Mercier Lip Glacé are maybe the only glosses I love in the world: moisturizing, lightweight but they have a good lasting power. Unfortunately I’m not sure about its name since I received it as a press sample and there’s no label on it. On my eyes I played a little more with some new stuff: my new Nabla Cosmetics custom made palette with all neutral and earthy tones, with matte (top row) and pearlized (bottom row) finishes. I received it a month ago, I’ll write a detailed post soon. Other entries from my most recent hauls: Hourglass Cosmetics Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil in Soft Brunette, Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream n°17 and Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon in Th(ink). I can’t wait to talk about these items in single posts, they’re becoming my holy grails 😀
What about your April 2014 Favourites?
Un watercolour a me, presto!*_* No seriamente, ma quant’è bello? *____*
Lo metterò nei prossimi most drooled, lo so *_*
È un rosino adorabile *__* non è esattamente il prodotto più ‘veloce’ da usare però l’effetto è molto bello.
