Bourjois Touche Healthy Mix Brush Concealer

Oh well, it’s time for a negative review. I really, really like the illuminating brush concealer concept, think about YSL Touche Eclat, the first and iconic illuminating brush concealer. Then a lot of similar products from almost every brand came out. Since then, I’m totally in love with MAC Cosmetics Prep+prime Highlighter. I had a lot of expectations about Bourjois Touche Healthy Mix Brush Concealer. Unfortunately I’ve been disappointed. I won’t draw this review out. I’ve found Bourjois Touche Healthy Mix Brush Concealer completely useless and awful.

It comes in only two colours: Light Beige and Rose Beige. I have fair skin (NC15 – NW13 for reference) and lightest colour – Light Beige – is just barely right for my skin, maybe it’s a tad bit dark. Definitely it can’t be an illuminating shade for a very fair skin. I have to admin that its tone is quite right: a little peachy to work well as an under-eye concealer. It could be right if it’d have only a minimum coverage at least. Texture is quite lightweight but it does absolutely nothing on dark circles. Besides it settles into fine lines after a short time. I don’t have many fine lines in my under-eye area, I hardly remember such a problem with other concealers. It also melts after a couple of hours and I find it everywhere all over my glasses.

Honestly, I couldn’t find a single good poin about Bourjois Touche Healthy Mix Brush Concealer and I’m so glad that I managed to finish it the other day!

Bourjois Touche Healthy Mix Brush Concealer is cheap, around 10 – 12€ on various UK sites. I bought it on Asos with (luckly) a discount code but I definitely won’t repurchase it.
