Bright and Glowing Skin: a springtime regimen

Recently I put a lot of effort in my skincare routine, testing a lot of new products and finding some holy grails. My skin is always the same – reactive, somehow acne-prone, quite dry – but it seems I can’t settle down to few, tested products: I really love experementing a lot when it comes to beauty products.

These days what I’m looking for is a clear, bright and radiant skin. Alongside my well-trusted cleansing routine, essences and serums I’m treating myself with some new great facial masks which have just arrived at Italian Sephora’s.

I’m talking about Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask and GlamGlow GravityMud. Both have a gourmand fragrance to die for – and so it is their consistency: the first one is similar to a spicy pumpink pie while the latter is similar to a silver marshmallow. It really seems that you put these delicious treats onto your skin. Plus, they have immediately effective results.

Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask* is rich in active pumpkin enzymes which exfoliate our skin as a great effective alpha-hydroxy acid.

GlamGlow GravityMud* is just like a silver foil that leaves your skin firmier and a lot smoother. I find this mask a lot less aggressive than other GlamGlow masks which were a bit too much for my skin.

As for eye care, I’m testing Tony Moly Panda’s Dream So Cool Eye Stick*, which has just arrived in Italy. I’m so happy that the Korean trend is going mainstream!

Last but not least, I discovered the pleasure of facial mists. Right now I’m fond of Caudalie Eau de Raisin*: it’s so refreshing and calming! It leaves my skin hydrated, smooth and it reduces my redness.

Talking about make up, my spring is all about a glowing base, enjoying the strobing trend to the fullest.

I’ve just received Innisfree Ampoule Intense Cover Cushion and I’m madly in love with it: it has a great coverage, it doesn’t look too dewy nor it dries out my skin. It gives a beautiful youthful radiant look still looking really natural.

I love it in combo with new Erborian 0.9 Touch au Ginseng*, a bouncy “creamy” powder that doesn’t look chalky at all: it is my dreamlike powder.

As for highlighters, right now I’m loving Sephora Wonderglow Cushion Highlighter* – a rosy champagne tone – and new Marc Jacobs Beauty Glow Stick Spotlight*, a beautiful pearly golden tone.
