Current Favourites & Most Played: Skincare edition
I’m back on my beloved Kenderasia for a beauty break from work – and it sounds funny since I’m currently working as beauty editor. To be honest, writing about beauty stuff all day long leaves me without any more energies to write about other beauty things here. I hope you’ll understand.
Nevertheless, I want to enjoy the pure pleasure of blogging at my own pace, with a personal point of view about all the things I love.
Today I want to share with you some of my current favourites and most played products. I fear I can’t keep up with the monthly #teammostplayed (GoldenVi0let™) post anymore. So I decided to do this “right now favourites and most played” everytime I want to share something I want to talk about.

As you can see my current loves are Korean brands and Italian organic ones.
I’m fond of these Asian essences: they’re inbetween a toner and a serum, they are rich in actives and don’t feel heavy on my sensitive, dehydrated, acne prone skin. I’ve just used up Nature Republic Honey Real Nature Essence, with mostly natural ingredients. Honey is so good if you have sensitive, dry skin, prone to acneic bacteria infections. Now I’ve ordered a similar product from another brand, can’t wait to try it when it comes!
Another powerful stuff is this COSRX Galactomyces 95 White Essence: these fermented actives are extremely good to fight bad bacteria, plus they have an anti-spots and an anti-ageing effect. My skin is a lot better since I’ve started using it, so clear and amazingly soft. Plus it’s the closest dupe for SK-II Facial Treatment Essence.
Petitfée Gold EGF Eye and Spot Patch are hydrogel patches with real gold essence. I don’t know if gold really works but these patches make my eye area more radiant and less puffy.
Now, let’s talk about Biofficina Toscana, an Italian Organic brand. Their lip scrub is the most amazing thing in the beauty world. It’s not exactly cheap but it solved my dramatically chapped lips’ problem.
Last but not least the Anti-oxidant face serum with hyaluronic acid. It’s a quite good serum, quite effective, didn’t break me out, rich in organic actives… however it is a bit sticky so you have to wait a couple of minutes before it’s completely absorbed.
