Well, it’s been a while. Work is hard, you know, blogging seems dead. Maybe I missed it so much because I have a thing for decadence.
So, I’m here again, ready to talk about beauty stuff one more time.
Let’s talk about what I’m into right now in this June 2018, a bittersweet month. I’ve been enjoying a lot of professional achievements (sort of) and I’m looking for learning new exciting subjects. Nevertheless, a lot of stressful events seem happening all the time, carrying a lot of frustration.
Beauty obsessions in June 2018
You know, I’m developing my passions for perfumes more and more. Last few weeks I managed to add to my perfume wardrobe some L’Artisan Parfumeur vintage and discontinued fragrances and two Serge Lutens vaporisateur noirs (Iris Silver Mist and Fourreau Noir). I’m so so happy.
Plus, I’ve been gifted as press samples with two super nice new launches for Summer. I’m talking about Jasmin Dentelle by Comptoir Sud Pacifique and Champ de Baies by L’Artisan Parfumeur. The first one is a surprisingly fresh and luminous fragrance, a delicate white floral bouquet. Official notes are lemon, mandarin, jasmine sambac, magnolia, musk and amber notes. The latter is a delicious and refreshing fruit cologne. Think about a more contemporary version of their masterpiece More et Musc. This is inspired by a walk in summery fields when the sun goes down. You see blackberry trees, mulberries and raspberries, where the fruits are juicy and dewy. Then you smell a fragrant jasmine and musky, earthy notes.
I’m madly in love with Viseart. I tried one of their infamous matte palettes and then I collected them all. These days I’m enjoying their Petit Pro I. I love both shimmer and matte shades. It is so incredibly small that I can fit it in any purse. A great plus, with these eyeshadows I don’t even need an eyeshadow primer. Unfortunately, it came a little damaged from my Beautybay order and the golden shade is almost gone. I love pairing warm tones with purple ones, with dark matte shades in the crease. The palest shade is nice to highlight my browbone without unrequested drama. For my face, I stick with make up with sunscreen protection. I can’t live without my Missha Magic Cushion but I’m also loving Secret Key Flower Water Pact. Plus, Skinfood Peach Cotton Pore Sun Pact is my Summer essential.
I’ve been receiving a lot of good stuff, lately. Such as Lumene serums (you really should check them out), Dermalogica, Korean brands and so on. Right now I’m a little obsessed with facial mist. I love those from Jurlique, Omorovicza, Emma Hardie and Caudalie. As for facial serum, I’m testing NIOD Copper Amino Isolate Serum. It feels really nice and I love how it makes my skin appear after each use. I’m waiting for some medium and long-term results. As for facial masks and treatments, I love NIOD Mastic Must and Klairs Gentle Black Sugar Facial Polish. I’m still looking for my perfect daily moisturizer.
