Hi! Today there will be a sample review, so take my considerations as first impressions since I obviously didn’t enough time for testing deeply.
I want to share my thoughs on Dior Nude Foundation, from a sample I received from my Sephora counter.
It seems that Dior Nude series anticipated the “naked”, “second skin” foundation trend a couple of years ago. However this year Dior re-launched its Nude foundation as New Nude.
My colour is 010 Ivory and it’s a perfect match for my pale warm-pink / peach skin but it tends to oxidize a little bit.
Texture is really thin and very liquid, maybe too much. It blends easily into skin, almost as a tinted moisturizer.
The effect is a real “nude” skin: it is very lightweight and natural; it doesn’t seem you are wearing a foundation indeed.
It has low coverage but when you try building it it looks cakey and marks dry flakes making my skin looking patchy.
I think it’s overpriced since its effect, try a bb cream instead!
