February 2017 Beauty Favourites
Winter is gone, spring is coming! During the last month I tried a lot of new exciting products and I want to share my thoughts wih you. Are you ready for my February 2017 Beauty Favourites?
Face make up
I really love to experiment with textures when it comes to my base make up. I recently got new Power Fabric foundation by Giorgio Armani which is supposed to be a buildable up to full coverage, long lasting foundation. I have it in n°3 shade. 3.5 would be perfect but it’s not available in Italy. Beware because all Giorgio Armani foundations have all different colours for the same shade number. I love to lighten its texture with MAC Cosmetics Strobe Cream in Peachlite, a higly appreciated gift by my beloved A Lost Girl.
Lips & Nails
Berries & berries. The big news: I started to paint my nails again after ages. Right now I really love April nail polish by Chanel but it was a limited edition from an old spring collection, sadly. It still goes on smoothly and it’s a gorgeous red berry colour. Plus, it lasts for a week without chipping.
As for lips, I’m loving these new Sephora launches: Rouge Lip Tint and Cream Lip Stain. The first one is a berry (proper) lip stain, while the ladder is an opaque liquid lipstick. They are really comfortable on lips and they last forever.
Skincare
As for skincare February 2017 Beauty Favourites I have three new staples.
The Ordinary Advanced Retinoid 2% is great as anti ageing treatment and anti acne remedy. Plus, it doesn’t irritate my skin at all. I’m totally in love with this brand, the highest quality at the lowest price.
Becos Age Star Daily City Screen SPF 30 is my current sunscreen protection. It doesn’t clog my pores, it’s lightweight and it’s a great base under make up.
Sephora Honey Lip Scrub is a new obsession. It is sooo easy to use it every morning and it’s not messy at all. It leaves my dehydrated chapped lips so smooth and soft.
Perfumes
In my fragrance journey I met Histoires de Parfums and I can’t get them off my mind. Right now I’m in love with Tubéreuse Animale 3, 1740 Marquis de Sade and 1969 Parfum de Revolte.
