We all see on catwalks and magazines how folk is a big fashion trend these days. Today I want to talk you about a UK site, Folklorique*, which unifies craft and tradition with the latest trends. These days is important searching for quality production, than massified one without any care or attention. There is plenty of talented young designers whom are looking for opportunities to let their work to be known. And with this purpose Folklorique* was born. A place where you can find unique items which allow to create your own style identified by a stong folk style.
As you can read on Ina’s (the entrepeneur behind Folklorique*) site:

Handmade Leather Bag – Pixelfolk Natural
The beautiful handmade leather bag has a folk motif specific of northern Hungary – a stylized boys and girls dance. The pattern is pierced into the leather by hand and the side detail gives a unique touch to the minimalist shape.

Silk Scarf – Pink Neofolk Pattern
The traditional Eastern European geometrical pattern has been given a new life on this scarf, by the use of bright bold neon pink in combination with navy blue on a soft gray background.
The scarf was made through digital print on 100% silk.
