This will be a relative review, since I have this foundation – Guerlain Lingerie de Peu – only as a sample. Though, I tested it for enough time so I can tell you something about it.
Another preliminary remark: I tested it only at home ‘cause shade is – obviously – too dark for me (it’s 03 beige naturel).
Brand’s statements: invisible skin-fusion, with spf20.
In Italy, it comes in 8 shades: 4 beige for neutral undertones, 2 rose for cool ones and 2 doré for warmer ones. I have fair skin and I should try 12 rose clair.
Texture is really thin and not greasy at all. It is very fluid and blends easy into skin. It has low-medium coverage and skin remain very natural looking. It has mat finish and although it doesn’t dry out too much on drier skins it can emphasize desquamation and flacky skin.
It feels lightweight but at the end of the day you’ll need a touch up.
It contains silicons but it does not contain oils.
Mi scordo sempre di chiederne un campione da Sephora anche se, il fatto che possa enfatizzare le aree più secche, mi fa partire un po’ prevenuta. La cosa che mi delude da un marchio come Guerlain sono le (pochissime) colorazioni disponibili. Proverò la 02 beige clair ma dallo swatch sulla mano credo sia troppo scuro rispetto alla mia carnagione per 3 stagioni all’anno (e ok che sono chiara, ma neanche bianco latte come alcune carnagioni o diafana e di norma non ho problemi nel trovare i fondotinta! O.o)
tutto sommato è un buon fondotinta, anche se io ormai vado di minerali o bb cream; lo vedo adatto alla bella stagione, proprio perché è leggero sulla pelle e “asciuga”. stessa delusione per i colori: amo Guerlain per un sacco di prodotti ma i colori dei fondotinta sono sempre troppo trascurati (come accade però anche per altri brand.. v. i colori Chanel commercializzati in Italia -.- )
