Holiday 2014 Collections – Sephora Press Day

The other day I had the chance to attend Italian Sephora Press Day where Holiday 2014 collections have been presented. Please mind that these are Italian Holiday 2014 Collections so international collections, one shots etc, may vary a lot.

We are going to see Sephora, Make Up For Ever, Marc Jacobs, OPI, Benefit, Urban Decay, bareMinerals, Nars and many others Holiday 2014 Collections, are you ready?

Sephora Holiday 2014 Collection: there is a huge variety of gift sets. Sparkling gold and silver make up for holidays, make up palettes gift sets, nail art sets, bath and body sets… there’s something for every need. All that glitters collection features Colorful Sequin Eyeshadow Glitter (11,90 €), Mascaliners (a mascara-eyeliner combo) in (12,90 €), Glitter Tips (11,90 €), Nail Designer Top Coats (4,90 €) and Tattoo Me! (7,90 €) and False Lashes (11,90 €). Then we have various gift sets: Brushes To Go Kit (€ 12,90) and Gold Party (€ 19,90) if you love brushes and  Creative Nail Art, a specific nail art brushes set (€ 16,90); for nails lovers there are more options, such as Save the nails! Express nail polish removers + Instant nail & cuticle care kit (15,00 €). Two big palettes if you love colours and play with them: Color Festival (39,90 €) and Chroma Color (39,90 €); then other colourful options for all beautyaholic out there: Makeup Party Box (24,90 €), 4 Eye Looks Book (29,90 €) and The Best of Sephora (39,90 €). As Holiday 2014 Collections Bumble and Bumble launches two sets Make It Big and Non Stop Softness (27,50 €) with two best selling products: Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil and Thickening Spray (love it!). Sets will feature a full size product with two travel sizes. Then in January 2015 we’ll have new products in BB Blow Dry range (36,50 €): for damaged hair and for thin hair.

 

Clarisonic presents Clarisonic Aria in Gold and Silver while in January 2015 Sonic collection will be launched.

 

For Holiday 2014 Collections Herborist presents a gift set Snow in Paris for a SPA at home day, containing Color Control – Masque perfecteur de teint and Cristal Mask for hands (39,90 €).

 

 

In January 2015 Benefit will launch Puff Off!: a highlighting gel that ‘iron out’ dark circles and wrinkles in the eye area. It can be used under or over make up. Then in March 2015 we’ll have a stick form of POREfessional. As Holiday 2014 Collection a super cute advent calendar, Candy Coated Countdown (99,90 €), Cutie Cravings with all brand’s best-sellers (40,90 €), Pretty Parfait for perfect eyes, lips and face (40,90 €) and Complexion Perfection with all skincare products (47,50 €). Benefit will also offer an amazing service: Bling Brow, at Benefit Brow Bar you can have little Swarovski crystals applied on your brows (10,00 €- 19,00 € ). Bling Brow will be also sold as a kit to apply at home (for Italian readers: this offer will be available only between 1st November and 6th January at Vittorio Emanuele Sephora’s).

 

It was the first time for me to see Sleek corner at Sephora press day! I could see new Eye & Cheek Palettes (12,90), I really like See You at Midnight with indigo and deep burgundy shades while Dancing Till Dusk is warmer with golden tones. Arabian Nights Palette (9,90 €) is way prettier than seen on the web! But the biggest news is Highlighting Palette (9,90 €), a palette with 6 metallic cream highlighter shades from pearl to bronze-gold tones.

 

 

Now it’s time to talk about bareMinerals news: there was new – but you can already find it in stores – BareSkin foundation (33,90 €), a liquid mineral based foundation. I was waiting from a long time for a such kind of product! You have to shake it well in order to mix minerals with liquid base, then with a convenient dropper you have to decide the coverage right for you (2, 4 or 6 drops). It’s thought to be used in combination with the special foundation brush (26,90 €) so you can always use the same amount of product without any waste. As Holiday collection you’ll find original mineral foundation in a kit with cute special packaging (35,90 €) and one of my favourite thing in the world, Palette READY 12.0 The Color Extravaganza (39,90 €): a modular, costumised eyeshadow palette, you have a big palette with eyeshadow pans that you can combine in the smaller palette to carry with you.

 

 

Urban decay presented new Vice 3 palette (love it!) (49,90 €), Naked 2 Basics (26,00 €) and Black Magic 24/7  Glide On Double Ended Eye Pencil Set (39,90 €).

 

 

And now, Marc Jacobs Beauty with its Holiday collection dedicated to Paris and all indigo based. We’ll have Palette Style Eye-Con no.7 The Parisienne (53,50 €) with deep and cool shades and Enamored nail lacquer in Midnight in Paris (22,50€). Then we have two kits: The Coquette (56,50€) with Magic Marc’er Blacquer Eyeliner, Lust for Lacquer in Kissability and Enamored nail lacquer in Madame, with a small mirror in a pochette designed by Marc Jacobs himself; Blacquer and Bleu (79€) with Magic Marc’er Blacquer Eyeliner, O!Mega Lash Mascara, Highliner gel crayon in Th(ink) in an exclusive make up bag.

 

As to nails we’ll have OPI Festive & Fabulous with Big Apple Red full size and 6 minis in all best-selling shades. Andrea Furleton have two Nail Tattoos in festive themes (2,90 €), Formula X has Paint the Town – Kit (29,00 €)  with 10 nail polishes, 8 coloured classics and 2 limited edition effects. Ciaté re-presents its advent calendar Mini Mani Manor (69,50 €) and Tree Trinket All aglow / Naughty or nice stocking fillers (10,50 €), plus Nail Taxi set (24,50 €).

 

Nars Laced with Edge Holiday Collection‘s packaging takes inspirations from Nebula, a project by Chris Kabatsi. This collection features Hardwired Lipsticks in Deadly Catch, Femme Fleur and Adriatic (26,50 €), Hardwirired Eyeshadows (all glittery with an exclusive formula) in Canberra, Opal Coast and Gabon (25,50 €). Only one Lipgloss in Soleil D’Orient, a pink champagne (25,00 €) and Blush in Almerìa, a burnt rose (30,50 €). There will also be two Holiday gift sets: Virtual Domination Palette with Laguna, Miss Liberty, Deep Throat, Sex Fantasy and Final Cut blush (55,50 €); Lip Pencil Set with Cruella, Iberico, Yu, Descanso and Torres del Paine (39,50 €).

 

We conclude this Holiday 2014 Collections preview with Make Up for Ever, one of the news I’m most excited about.
