Illamasqua Tremble Powder Blusher
I have a big problem with Illamasqua. I love Illamasqua‘s concept, I love Alex Box, I love their colours but the products I’ve tried so far didn’t impress me much. They’re not really bad but for that price I would expect greater quality. Since now I’ve tried powder eyeshadows (poor colour payoff), lipsticks (way too waxy and plastic-like) and blushes (don’t last).
I don’t know if there’s something wrong in me because everyone goes crazy for Illamasqua products, especially their blushes. Today’s review is about Illamasqua Tremble Powder Blusher.
I bought Illamasqua Tremble Powder Blusher long time ago, because I’ve read amazing review about it. It is an extremely bright – almost neon – warm pink. Colour is one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen, indeed. It gives an instantly doll-like flush. The bonne mine effect is amazing, it can perk me up even on worst mornings. Believe me, this colour is the best thing for tired out face. Colour payoff is terrific: even with a duo fibre brush (MAC 188) I have to be extremely careful. I have fair skin (N15) and I have to barely touch the surface to get plenty of colour. Illamasqua Tremble Powder Blusher is the most perfect bright warm pink you’ll ever see. Even if it has a matte finish is not powdery at all and colour is true to pan.
But now let me explain how much I am disappointed in this blush. I tried several methods (applied over various powders, directly over foundation, with and without primer…) but Illamasqua Tremble Powder Blusher doesn’t last on me more than 3-4 hours. It starts fading after a couple of hours and then it disappears. I can’t really explain why a so highly pigmented blush can completely vanish from my face. How annoying. Especially because it’s not cheap at all: £21.50 for 4.5 grams on Illamasqua’s site.
Questo colore l’ho adocchiato da un po’, so che i blush Illamasqua non sono facilmente reperibili ma so anch che prima o poi cederò XD
Su Asos si trovano, oltre che sul sito ufficiale. Io coi blush sono veramente un po’ difficile… ne trovo raramente di durevoli!
Pensa un po’, su di me dura ma lo trovo terribilmente polveroso!
L’esatto opposto praticamente XD per la polverosità potrebbe dipendere dal pennello forse? io uso il mac 188 (un duo fibre praticamente) e non spolvera.
io due cose ho provato loro e, a parte il fatto che entrambe mi han fatto allergia, erano pure deludenti in termini di texture e scrivenza.
Meh.
Eh anche per me è tutto un po’ meh. Davvero, concept bellissmo a parte, non mi spiego tutto l’hype…
