January 2016 Favourites – My Most Played
Another year has begun and I’m overwhelmed with my new, beautiful work at JunGlam. Therefore I didn’t have much time to update my blog as I used to but I love to return to it once in a while. It’s time for another of my beloved #teammostplayed (GoldenVi0let™) appointments: this time it’s about my January 2016 Favourites, aka my most played beauty products during last month.
First, lip products. I can’t stop using these two Nabla Cosmetics Diva Crime lipsticks in Balkis and Rock’n’Nude, my latest pick from Artika Collection. They’re overly creamy, amazingly pigmented and they set in a matte finish after 10 minutes. They stays on *perfect* even after full meals. I really like this formula even if I usually prefer drier textures because they give me more control during application.
Another favourite product of the month is Nabla Cosmetics Crème Shadow in Pinkwood. I feared it would look terrible on me but it doesn’t accentuate my dark circles and it suits well my complexion and my brown eyes. It has been my favourite for a quick makeup look on the go.
Well, Nabla Cosmetics and Artika Collection again for my most used eyeshadows of the month. I ended up getting Fahrenheit, Baltic and Desire, three colours that surprisingly look amazing when used together. Fahrenheit is a gorgeous deep warm red with a hint of burgundy (a true Pompeian red). Baltic is another deep colour, a cobalt blue. Desire is the most perfect rose gold shade with a great metallic finish and an almost creamy texture.
Now, let’s talk about makeup brushes. You know how much I love them. I’m really enjoying my last MAC Cosmetics picks: 288 from Haute Dogs Collection (maybe now it’s permanent) for cream eyeshadows, 215 (came out with Face and Body Collection but now it’s permanent) for packing pigments and powder eyeshadows and 133, part of Faerie Whispers Collection, beautiful for applying blush or highlighter.
Last but not least, my most recent perfume love and another great add to my Serge Lutens little collection: Chergui. I didn’t think that could be another “oh so me” perfume like Ambre Sultan but I was wrong. Chergui tells my story as well with its unique dry yet sweet scent, just like the wind in the desert.
Pinkwood is definitely a favorite of mine too! Lovely products 🙂
xx
These cream shadows are very nice indeed. Thank you 😀
il 133 mi sono pentita di non averlo preso… ._.
abbiamo diversi prodotti in comune <3
magari lo mettono in permanente, con gli ultimi pennelli l’hanno fatto… per l’illuminante è un amore!
