Another post on shopping in Milan, city of perdition.
At last I was able to take a look at new Kiko limited edition collection: Active Colours (see official infos), launched in occasion of London 2012 Olympic Games.
In real life I’ve been a bit deceived.
First, I was attracted from Super Colour Eyeliners: beautiful colours, but too liquid formulation, especially those I wanted to buy: 109 Viola Geranio Perlato and 110 Viola Regale Perlato (violet and purple). Remember: you have to shake the product for better colour payoff.
Then, Super Colour Mascaras: but I was attracted from the purple one (yep, I love purple!) which is permanent. And Inglot Colour Play Mascaras are so pretty too… I have time to make a decision ๐
Super Colour Lipglosses: pretty but I don’t like lipglosses in pots…
Colour Kajals: beautiful colours, smooth and good colour payoff on hand; I liked many but I got only one to test its lasting power and how it goes on waterline.
Well, I picked the most unique colour imho: 107 Lavanda (described as lavender, irl it’s more a cross between periwinkle-cornflower). Colour payoff on hand is great: on waterline you have to insist a little and I don’t find it as smooth as on hand. Nevertheless the result is nice.
Lasting power is decent: it’s not waterproof and in these hot days it lasts on waterline about 3-4 hours before fading. Not so bad after all, but I hate reapply products ๐
Though, this colour is so pretty and so nice with hazel eyes (it goes soooooo well on waterline with Inglot 355 on eyelid and Inglot 369 on crease and outer corner; black liner on upper lashline) that I can forgive its lacks ๐ (but I won’t buy any others)
What about products on sale? They’re not bad at all.
From City Summer Collection I recommend Liquid Colour Eyeshadow, the Essential Bronzer and Sun Bronzing Blush (I didn’t like the other products).
From Bloom Origami Collection don’t skip Creamy Touch Eyeshadow Duo, Sheer & Creamy Lipstick Duo and Bloom Blush.
Hope this help!
