Lichen Green, along with Koi, is the colour I love less from the Fall Winter 2013 colour trends chosen by Pantone. Maybe because I don’t like lichens at all. By the way I have to admit that Lichen Green 18-0312 is a very fall colour, it recalls to me long walks in the woods, sorrounded by centenary trees. Moss, damp leaves and lichens. Lichen Green seems to me a moss green with a touch of olive green. We frequently saw this kind of colour in fashion as camouflage patterns. I tried to select some fashion – and a couple of beauty – inspirations in Lichen Green not too boring, but elegant and sophisticated. I may suggest to pair Lichen Green with some pop of bright colour, such as fuchsia ore orange. If you pair it with greiges or other neutral colours you may look too obsvious perhaps.
