Make Up For Ever – Aqua Eyes Set aka the worst purchase ever.

It’s a set lauched past winter and I bought it on the go in february because I needed a black eyeliner; it seemed a good deal: 1 full size black eyeliner, plus 5 coloured minis (and I mean *really* minis) at 29 euro.

I’ve always read enthusiastic reviews about these Aqua Eyes, so I never minded a bad experience!

Performance varies by colour: black one has decent colour payoff, still not a true rich black, the blue one has a poor pigmentation; brown is not a thing, while teal is the only good one. Grey nothing special. Purple is simply awful.

Line is uneven, a real pain to apply on the eyes.

So, poor colour payoff and what about lasting power? Meh. Maybe 5h? Not at all waterproof or smudgeproof.

Totally disappointing.
