I had the opportunity to test Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Smoothing Primer* in travel size. It is supposed to smooth skin texture, minimizing enlarged pores and fine lines. Thanks to its light peach colour it has a perk up effect and it evens out skintone. During all these years as a make up lover – I don’t dare to call myself an ‘expert’ – I learned, thanks to various great make up artists’ advices indeed, that face primer is an essential, fundamental step for every make up look. Face primer – as its name says – prepare and prime face which is like canvas to a painter. It smooths skin texture and conceal and minimize all little imperfections and unevenness. It also helps to even out skintone, to help the foundation to adhere better to skin so your make up will last longer. After you get used to face primer you’ll end up using less and less foundation and your skin will look more natural.
I’m really glad that Make Up For Ever came out with these new primers. Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Smoothing Primer maintains all his claims and promises: I can’t help to include this primer on my daily make up menu when I want a satiny-matte finish. A realy must have if you have acne prone, combination skin because it balances and evens out your trobled areas without drying out your skin. Thanks to this product I only have to use a tiny bit of foundation and I also wore it alone because thanks to its light peach tone it perfects my skin on its own.
