I really like how it compliments Cypress, Sangria and Cognac, other trendy colours for this fall winter 2014-15. I’m not really into bright sunny yellow but I fell in love with mustard and this kind of muted dusky yellow only recently. I love how it adds a little of brightness to deep, fall colours such as burgundy, dark green and brown.

When it comes to fall outfits I’m all about preppy and romantic with a retro twist clothes. And I’m crazy for all kind of animal prints to add a childish yet ironic touch. I really couldn’t help to inclued these Yumi tops, one jumper with a striking bird motif that also recalls Sangria colour and a cardinga with a cute whale print. Furthermore, did you know that mid-lenght skirt are a big trend for this season? As for accessories I chose a little clutch, my beloved oxford shoes and a super cute beanie.

Misted Yellow Beauty Inspirations

As for make up inspirations things were more difficult. I didn’t want to choose some gold but I was looking for real yellow with mustard undertones. In the end I selected Shiseido Luminizing Satin Eye Trio and Nars Duo Rated R eyeshadows. Then this new Aquamatic n°30 by Make Up For Ever and one nail polish, this one is Iconoclast Yellow by Deborah Lippmann.
