My Top 5 Take that, McGyver!

Time for another Dramatag, the post series created by fellow blogger S. This time the top 5 products are My Top 5 Take that, McGyver aka my top 5 multitasking products. I was a bit in trouble thinking about : this topic since I have sooo many products that I rarely use the same products for multiple purposes. But when I thought better about writing this post I found some multitasking treasures in my stash which work wonderfully in multiple ways.

So, here there are My Top 5 Take that, McGyver! products.

As you can see there’s no much brand variaty: it’s all from MAC Cosmetics with the only exception of Laura Mercier Foundation Primer. I do think that professional brands are best supposed to have in their range multitasking product because a MUA tend to carry in its kit a little number (as it could be possible) of products that can work for different purposes.

  • Laura Mercier Foundation Primer Radiance: it’s not only a classical foundation primer so it’s not only give you a flawless canvas before applying your foundation and make it last all day long but it adds a good amount of radiance and colour correcting since it has a peach tone. So it’s a Primer, CC Cream and Highlighter all in one.
  • MAC Cosmetics Mineralize Skinfinish Natural: you can use it as a light ‘mineral’ foundation, as a setting powder with a soft focus effect or as contour/highlighter product if you choose the right colour. I have it not only in my right shade (Light) but also in Medium so it makes a beautiful natural contour.
  • MAC Cosmetics Pigment Vanilla: some years ago I was mad about MAC pigments. They’re so intense in pigmentation and are the most perfect multitasking product. You can use them dry, wet or mixed with mixing medium in order to obtein completely new product. I love Vanilla as plain eyeshadow, cheekbones highlighter, or mixed with a base product (moisturizer or foundation) for a super radiant skin.
  • MAC Cosmetics Prep+Prime Highlighter Light Boost: this product is magic, indeed. It’s perfect as under-eye concealer but also as subtle but still effective highlighter to enhance your face features.
  • MAC Cosmetics Beet Lip Pencil: lip pencils are usually an underrated product. You can use them not only to line your lips before or after your lipstick but you can fill your lips to obtain a long lasting lip colour, cheating and adjusting your lips shape or creating various ombré effects. Beet is a gorgeous berry shade which pairs well with reds, plums, fuchsias… you can also creating new colours pairing a lip liner in a different colour from your lipstick.
