Nuxe Sun – New for Summer 2014
Today’s post is about Nuxe Sun range. For summer 2014 Nuxe, the well known French pharmacy brand, has a complete range of sunscreens. All products are already available in your pharmacies and parapharmacies.
I’ve been really lucky because Nuxe Italy sent me some Nuxe Sun products for consideration. I received Spray Lacté Visage et Corps SPF 20 (Milky Spray for Face and Body SPF 20)* and the Lait Fraîcheur Après-Soleil Visage et Corps (Refreshing After-Sun Lotion for Face and Body)*.

First of all I have to say that I use sunscreen all year round, even during winter and on cloudy days. UV rays are always dangerous and could cause serious risks to your health. So I highly recommend to use a sunscreen every day.

Since I have a fair and sensitive skin I prefer using a very high protection, normally a SPF 50+, especially in summer. So I find that Spray Lacté Visage et Corps SPF 20 / Milky Spray for Face and Body SPF 20 has a low protection for my skin type during the hot season but it may be perfect if you have a medium skintone or in autumn-winter. Nevertheless I tested it all last month and I think I can say what I think about it. Please mind that I didn’t try it at sea but only in town. The spray dispenser is very handy and delivers the right amount of product. Since it’s a milk the texture is quite liquid but not too runny. The spray is quite precise so you can cover easily even small areas. The feeling is really fresh and it absorbs immediately into skin. It has the same delicious fragrance than Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse. It lasts quite well on skin without being too overwhelming. The best thing about this Spray Lacté Visage et Corps SPF 20 / Milky Spray for Face and Body SPF 20 is that it doesn’t leave any white cast and it feels really lightweight on skin. It gives a natural glow without being too greasy but oilier skins may experience too much shine. I hadn’t any breakout with it and I am acne prone.

The Refreshing After-Sun Lotion for Face and Body has the same light texture. Please mind that I tested it only on my body. It does absorb quickly so you don’t have to massage for a long time. It has the same fragrance but a bit less intense. Completely lightweight and not sticky on skin. It leaves my skin completely hydrated and nourished without feeling heavy. It doesn’t contain luminzing particles but it enhance natural radiance of the skin. If you prefer a bit of shine you can top it with Huile Prodigieuse Or, it is a dry oil with very fine gold particles which look great on legs. I think that Refreshing After-Sun Lotion for Face and Body is not only a great after sun lotion but one of the best daily body moisturizer out there.
