It’s already time for another Most Played series post, today’s post is about October Favourites with a couple days of delay I’m sorry.

Last October l I enjoied a full, refined base, with neutral taupey eyes and natural, slightly berry stained lips, full natural brows for a polished look which I find it suits me so well these days. You’ll see some new entries: most of all the Giorgio Armani Maestro foundation which I absolutely love and I can’t wait to review! Then a new mascara, the YSL Baby Doll, a Wjcon eyeliner that is amazingly beautiful and the Sephora CC cream + concealer*… but let’s see products in detail above!

  • Giorgio Armani Maestro Foundation: this is an October new entry, a gift for my birthday. I tried this foundation with the wise advice of my friend Beatrice. Texture is something I’d never seen before, extremely thin like a dry oil which leaves a velvety skin, natural but almost perfect.

  • Sephora CC Eye Cream + concealer was in the goodies bag I was given during Sephora’s press day on 10th October. I was skeptical about this kind of product but I have to say I really like it! It’s a sort of tinted eye cream which absorbs immediately and leave your eye skin area well rested and hydrated. It doesn’t conceal super dark circles but it’s perfect for highlighting that area for a youthful look.

  • Illamasqua Powder Blush in Tremble: is the perfect warm pink blush. Highly pigmented, blends easily and I think it’s the most pretty blush in Illamasqua‘s range, especially if you have a fair skintone. The only downside is that it doesn’t last an entire day on me, but only 5 hours.

  • Mac Paint Pot in Stormy Pink: the Mac collection I loved the most during these months is the Pro Longwear Paint Pot collection 2013 indeed I bought three of the new paint pots which I’ll review soon. Stormy Pink is one of those colours I can’t live without: a mauvey taupe which maintain all purplish undertone even applied on lids.

  • YSL Baby Doll mascara: YSL Effet Faux Cils is my most loved mascara of all time. This one has a different brush, really skinny which provides great precision during application. It gives volume and lenght but it’s not really glossy and intense.

  • Wjcon Long Lasting Eyeliner in 08 Indigo is a surprisingly find for me. I discovered this brand thanks to my friend Misato and this one is one of the most good eyeliner out there, seriously. Ridiculously cheap, extremely intense with an amazing colour payoff and a really good staying power even on the waterline. And with this colour my eyes pop like multi-reflecting jewels.

  • Anastasia Brow Powder Duo in Ash/Medium Brown: this is a great holygrail for all of those which like naturally defined brows. Colour is perfect for me – I’m a medium brunette – since it has no warm tone in it. I apply it with an angled brush – Mac 266 – and I have perfect brows all day long without looking fake.

  • Kiko Eyebrow Wax Fixing Pencil: it’s a simple product which do what it promises. It’s a wax based pencil which put in shape your brows without making them look glossy but only polished. It’s cheap, it does its job and it doesn’t leave any greasiness.

  • Neve Cosmetics Pastello Labbra Natural Lip Color in Ballerina/Pink: it’s the perfect my lips but better pink with slightly mauvey undertones. I like it to wear it not only as a lip liner but as a lipstick itself simply filling my lips and blending. Perfect for all occasions.

  • Manic Panic in Tramp: most of you know that I like the good girl, polished, sophisticated look with a dark, alternative twist; it’s what I am 🙂 Manic Panic is an alternative make up brand with a particular attention to various subcultures. I’ve always looked for a super dark plum lipstick, almost black. Tramp is a really, really dark berry shade with plum undertones even if it can’t be considered a blackened lipstick. I love it also as a stain, dabbed on lips is the prettiest berry shade ever.

  • Last but not least, the  Legami lip balm in Coconut scent. Legami is an Italian mainly stationery brand and you can find its lip balms in some Italian bookstore.
