REN Invisible Pores Detox Mask
Today’s post is about one of my all time favourite facial mask. It’s from one of my favourite brand as well: REN Skincare. This brand combines natural ingredients and high efficacity. I’ve tried several masks from REN and other skincare brands and this one is among my most beloved ones.
Though, its claim is a bit misleading. I really can’t understand all this ‘detox’ trend: I think it’s all about marketing and an appealing naming. Then ‘invisible pores’ is quite a miracle. You have to stay rational: if you take a look at this mask’s ingredients you can see how it is a good mask but miracles are obviously out of reach.
REN Invisible Pores Detox Mask is part of Clarimatte range: all Clarimatte products are supposed to be used by people with oily or combination skin, with impurities and imperfections. I have an acne prone skin with a lot of dryness so I have to choose carefully when it comes to anti-impurities treatments.
The best thing about REN Invisible Pores Detox Mask is that cleans your skin deeply getting rid off all impurities without drying out your skin.

Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Water, Kaolin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Glucoside, Phenoxyethanol, Spirulina Platensis Powder, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate, Lactic Acid, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Linalool, Limonene, Callitris Intratropica Wood Oil, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil.
As you can see French Clay (Kaolin) absorbs excess sebum but it is really gentle on skin. Essential oils soothe and keep your skin balanced, plus they prevent the appearance of imperfections.
I apply REN Invisible Pores Detox Mask on clean, dry skin and I leave it for about 15 minutes. When it is completely dry I rinse off with lukewarm water. Even if it is a clay based mask it’s not too difficult to wash it off. I have a quite sensitive skin but it doesn’t leave my skin irritated. Of course, my pores are the same size than before but they are completely unclogged and clear so they do appear less visible.
