I’ve been tagged for The Most Often Played from lovely Beatrice – Strawberry makeup bag and Misato – A lost girl (loves make up!); the idea is that we think about products we use most often. I thought about which are those products I reach for everyday, or when I’m in a hurry and I want to be okay throughout the day. I’m not used to do The Most Often Played or The Favourites monthly posts, because I don’t buy tons of products every day and I tend to stick to my favourites so I’m worried that those kind of posts could be too boring; after all they are so loved and I find myself loving them in other blogs so maybe I can do them sometimes 😀
- Foundation: Burberry Velvet. It blends so easily and lasts all day with a beautiful matte but not flat finish that I use it almost everyday.
- Concealer: Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics. It replaced my Inglot concealer in my everyday routine: it has good coverage and it doesn’t dry out my under eyes.
- Powder: Mac Mineralize Foundation Loose. It is a quite recent purchase but it became a staple in my everyday makeup. It sets my foundation without being heavy and doesn’t make me look cakey, love it!
- Eye base: Mac Paints. Yes, Paints, not Paint Pots. I really don’t understand why people don’t use them anymore, they are the most incredible eye base I ever used!
- Mascara: Essence I love extreme. I usually use only one mascara at a time and I finally opened this one after reading enthusiastic reviews. I like it very much and it’s very very cheap!
- Eyeshadow: Burberry Sheer Eyeshadow in Mulberry. I reach for it every time I don’t know what eyeshadow to use, when I’m in a hurry or simply when I want to look at my best. Amazing colour, buttery texture, excellent colour payoff and staying power.
- Palette: Urban Decay Naked. I know you are bored from this one. But I use it for the same reasons above, and smoky eyes with neutrals are my favourites.
- Cream Eyeshadow: Chanel llusoire Illusion d’Ombre. Perfect when I’m in a hurry and I want to look perfect and chic. It is a sophisticated colour (and I LOVE these purplish taupe).
- Blush: Make Up Store Must Have. It is not my all time favourite but I reach for it almost every single day because it’s really flattering with many make ups and perfect for a everyday use. It is a peach warm pink colour, with a matte finish: simply pretty.
- Lipstick: Nars Pure Matte in Montego Bay. A MLBB shade with warm undertones, perfect when I don’t know what to use and I don’t want nothing bright.
- Lipgloss: YSL Glossy Stain n°17. Well, it’s not really a gloss but I use it when I don’t want to think about re-touches but I want something more girly and shiny than matte lips.

pure io non compro così tanta roba ma già il Most Played è diverso dai preferiti e mette in gioco tanto gli utilizzi reali quanto la possibilità di accennare o parlare di più cose… io ho scelto di farlo perché avendo tempi di recensione lunghi un po’ aiuta. 😀

@Misato effettivamente è carina come cosa, sarebbe utile anche a me stessa vedere dall’esterno i miei utilizzi effettivi e magari un incentivo a usare cose magari dimenticate o un monito a comprare di meno se tanto uso sempre quelle due-tre cose XD oltre a creare una rete di link interni niente male 😛

Mai provato, o anche solo guardato con interesse, nulla di burberry. I pants di mac li avevo provati milioni di anni fa, invece. Illusoire è anche la mia ancora di salvataggio: lo indossavo oggi.
@IlariaO Sai che secondo me Burberry merita parecchio? Secondo me la qualità è maggiore dei vari Dior e Chanel 😀
@kenderasia Devo proprio dare un’occhiata in Rinascente allora: domani dovrei riuscire a passarci. Sarà che una volta mi ero avvicinata allo stand una mua zelante voleva assolutamente farmi provare un rossetto marrone-bronzato che guardavo con raccapriccio… Ma vendono solo lì o ci sono anche delle profumerie che tengono il marchio?
