Who knows me well, has fixed in mind that I’m not a lipgloss junkie (with some exceptions).
I was a little bit sceptical when YSL launched this new product: a stain with a lasting glossy finish.

But my love for stains and enthusiastic reviews convinced me.
They’re pricey – terribly pricey: 27.50 euro. Italian readers: check cheaper stores such as Beauty Star; rest of the world search for discount codes – (Sephora’s 20% and so on).
But I found out that they’re worth.

At first I chose shade 17: a very cool pink, leads to a fuchsia-purple on my pigmented lips.
The texture is so strange: a thin but jelly feeling on lips, extremely lightweight. One layer will deliver just a bit of colour, but you can layer again for a full-colour look.

Non-stiking, very glossy finish.
I don’t know how to explain it, but the glossy appereance remain for about 5 hours, then it’ll let a classic, long-wearing stain that doesn’t dry out lips.
I’m addicted to them, so I cannot resist to another one: this time I chose a coral shade (12), it’s not orangey but leads more to a warm pinky red.

Previously, you had to choose between long-weariness with dryness and extremely shorty staying power with moisturizing/gloss effect.
Now you can have all in one. With this product, YSL marked a milestone.

sono veramente pazzeschi, e io non uso praticamente mai il gloss! questi li metti su e non ci pensi più. sì, il prezzo è parecchio alto.. la maybelline li ha fatti simili ma non li ho provati!
non lo sapevo, semmai darò un’occhiata a quelli.
se no sacrificherò qualcosa (o qualcuno) ;P
costano sui 10 euro mi pare 😉 basta che non sacrifichi i gatti XD

provato uno di quelli maybelline… non vale la pena. non è male, ma non dura certo 10h. su di me una, un po’ di più proprio se non bevo e non mangio. non resiste neanche ad un bicchier d’acqua…
