Today’s review is about Aesop Parsley Seed Mask.

I can’t really express well (maybe because I’m writing in a foreign language, LOL) how I feel when I have in my hands products that fascinated me from a long time. It’s not really the product itself but it’s the complex of emotions which lies in expectations and in something that comes from away.

During past years I’ve always seen Aesop products reviewed on my favourites international blogs, especially British ones, with their great photography and graphic qualities and plenty of products that I could only dream of. Then I became part of beauty blogging too, I discovered more and more things about beauty world, products and so on.

I have to thank Beatrice from Strawberry makeup bag for a lot of products I’m enjoying right now. She is Italian like me but she has an international view of beauty so I go really well with her style.

Aesop is avaible for me on a couple of UK site but I never bought any – it’s quite pricey – since I stumbled in an Aesop corner in Milan. Beatrice recommended this Aesop Parsley Seed Mask and I can’t help to give it a try.

Aesop Parsley Seed Mask

First, packaging is what I like the most from this brand. It reminds me some tailored pharmaceutical preparation from an old style apothecary, as Beatrice said. A clean and minimal packaging with labels designed in a professional style. This Aesop Parsley Seed Mask seems a vintage ointment tube. I don’t know why, but these details make me feel a little special in some way.

The Aesop Parsley Seed Mask is a cleansing, purifying mask that doesn’t irritate skin nor dries it out too much, despite it contains clay. In addition to caolin clay, there a are a lot of natural extracts good for skin: aloe vera, parsley seed, lavender, primrose and rose oils which soothe stressed skin. This mask is really refreshing when applied, you can really feel that it’s cleaning up your pores but it let your skin well rested and not irritated at all.

I highly recommend this mask!
