Dazzling Blue – Spring 2014 Colour Trend
Hi! It’s finally almost Spring! And it’s time to restart my colour trends posts series. So, let’s see what colours will be trending this spring 2014 alongside with Pantone’s leader opinion.

Today’s post features Dazzling Blue.
Dazzling Blue is an extremely bright blue, almost electric. I’m in love with cool colours for spring-summer season and nautical theme is always a favourite of mine. I absolutely adore pretty anything from this selection. J Brand jeans are always my favourite pants, they have the best wearability ever, especially skinny models and these ones in coated shiny blue are the top-notch. Dr Martens are a classic 90’s mush have that become a trend again from a couple of years; these are in a bright blue patent. I also love simple colourful flat trainers and you all know my obsession for satchels; I know I’ll own a Proenza Schouler bag someday!
When it comes to make up electric blue is always funny: paint your nails in a bold blue and put some shadows as a wash: use a cream eyeshadow as a base – this one is from Elizabeth Arden Spring 2014 Collection – then pat on a bright blue eyeshadow such as Nars Cosmetics in Outremer. Or you can choose a single blue touch as a simple eye liner or a colourful mascara that look amazing under a bright sun.
