Antipodes Juliet Skin-Brightening Gel Cleanser: my review
Hi! Today’s review is about Antipodes Juliet Skin-Brightening Gel Cleanser.
I’ve used this cleanser from October everyday twice a day and I’ve ended up a couple of days ago. My skin is combination, acne-prone, not really too sensitive but quite reactive so I have to choose my skincare products extremely carefully in order to avoid bad reactions, breakouts etc.
I’ve always lemming Antipodes products but since they’re quite pricey I didn’t want to spend so much money in products that I’d finish quickly. I know, I spend so much in make up products and I go cheap with skincare: not really good for my skin. But since I know my skin and I can recognize what ingredients are good for it I’ve always managed to spend few money for good – at least for me – skincare products.
But I was really intrigued from this New Zealander brand. I’ve always read enthousiastic reviews and I wanted to try their key ingredient: manuka honey. After some researches I found out that manuka honey has so many great properties! Since after that I purchased some more manuka honey based products I’ll write a post about it with all reviews of products I tried so far 🙂
As I said this Antipodes Juliet Skin-Brightening Gel Cleanser contains a good amount of manuka honey and other great ingredients, here it is complete list:
Aqua (Water), Herbal Extract Mixture Of Vitis Vinifera & Actindia Chinensis (Vinanza Performance Plus® Sauvignon Blanc Grape Seed & Kiwi, Vinanza Kiwi® Fruit Pulp), Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Sodium Lauroamphoacetate, Wheat Germamidopropyldimonium, Hydroxypropyl Hydrolysed Wheat Protein, Sodium Hydroxymethyl Glycinate, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Buxus Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil, Leptospermum Scoparium Mel (Manuka Honey), Hibiscus Sabdariffa (Hibiscus) Flower Extract, Sodium Benzoate, Gluco- Nolactone, Calcium Gluconate, Essential Oil Fragrances Of Green Apple & Cardamon: Benzyl Alcohol†, Cinnamal†, Citral†, Citronellol†, Geraniol†, Limonene†, Linalool†.
†Component Of Essential Oil
It’s really pricey for a cleanser since it’s sold at £24.99 but you get a good amount of product (200 ml). I bought it on Feelunique with a 15% discount code.
Antipodes Juliet Skin-Brightening Gel Cleanser‘s consitency is gel-like but quite liquid, it reminds me of jam. Smell is fruity and delicious but not overwhelming. I’ve been using it with my Clarisonic Mia and I find that they work amazingly together. Day after day my skin became cleaner, with less blemishes and spots. Of course you can’t get any miracle with no products but I couldn’t be more satisfied with this cleanser.
