Last day of 2016. Here I am with December beauty favourites. To be honest, these are my 2016 beauty favourites, the products I enjoyed and loved the most among my stash.
I discovered this brand this year thanks to their international shipping. I’m in love with their Matte and Satin Lip Colour, liquid lipstick with an opaque velvet-like finish. They’re completely no-transfer and they last forever.
I absolutely love their Eyeshadows as well. They’re not really a cream product nor a powder, nor a cream-to-powder. They’re bouncy and pigmented as hell. I’ve never seen such a colour payoff anywhere. I apply them with a brush or with my fingers and they last +12 hours even without a primer underneath.
The Colourpop range of colours is gorgeous.
This year I went through the fabulous world of perfumes. I love them since I was a child but recently I approached them more seriously. I experienced (aka sniffed) a lot, I collected those fragrances I fell in love with the most and I deeply enjoy all this own personal aromatherapy. I really believe in fragrances’ power of comforting.
One of my favourite brand is Serge Lutens with all his spicy, warm fragrances. Recently, I discovered Italian niche brand Laboratorio Olfattivo. My favourites? Alambar and MyLO.
Nabla Cosmetics Goldust Collection
This is maybe my all time favourite make up collection. It is inspired by Art Nouveau and Art Deco and it is mainly warm based. I love Nabla eyeshadows, they’re so blendable, pigmented and they come in pretty unique shades. Plus, I have a thing for warm based colours. This collection’s packaging is astonishing: get while you can the two limited edition palettes and the gold toned lipsticks (and the rose gold eyeliner as well).
MAC is always in my heart. I still love most of their products and new launches. My most favourite (recent) product is the new Studio Fix Perfecting Powder. It’s a loose powder with a matte finish. It doesn’t dry out my skin and it is incredibly finely milled. It is soooo lightweight, setting and perfecting without any cakey effect. My shade is light.
That’s all folks! See ya next year 😉
